Soccer Game Preview: Sage Hill vs. Northwood

The Sage Hill Lightning will face off against the Northwood Timberwolves at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Sage Hill turned things around against Woodbridge on Friday. Both finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw. The result was nothing new for the Lightning as the team haven't won a game since December 2, 2024.

Meanwhile, Northwood's game on Friday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of St. Margaret's by a score of 2-1.

Northwood has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3-1 record this season. Sage Hill's draw gives them a new season record of 1-5-2.

Sage Hill suffered a grim 6-2 defeat to Northwood in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Can Sage Hill avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
