Football Recap: Legacy Comes Up Short

Legacy played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Central Cobras and fell 49-14. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 395th, while the Cobras are ranked 132nd).

Although Legacy took the loss, they still got scores from Jamal Edwards and Quinten Dacres.

Legacy is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. As for Central, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Legacy has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Palm Beach Christian Prep on the 6th. As for Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 49-0 win against Treasure Coast on the 10th.
