Basketball Recap: Tomas Gets the Win

Tomas hasn't had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They skirted past the Bay City Blackcats 48-45.

Among those leading the charge was Josh Hardwick, who posted nine points and six boards. He also put up a block, which was his first of the season. Jeremy Ume was another key player, putting up six points and eight rebounds.

Tomas' victory bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Bay City, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season.

Tomas wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 60-39 win against Van Vleck on the 29th. As for Bay City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-48 loss against Eisenhower on the 30th.
