Lyons-Decatur Northeast Gets a Boost from Hardeman in 63-6 Victory
Starting off the list is Lyons-Decatur Northeast's Gavin Hardeman, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Hardeman rushed for 145 yards and four touchdowns on only ten carries.
If the past is any indication, Hardeman could be in store for another big game when he takes on Bancroft-Rosalie on Friday. Hardeman rushed for 73 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries the last time he and the Panthers duked it out back in September of 2023.

Graysen Briggs posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 189 yards and a touchdown while picking up 11.8 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 51 yards.
Briggs is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Lyons-Decatur Northeast on Friday. Briggs rushed for 171 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries the last time he and the Cougars duked it out back in September of 2023.

Braylon Wegner was instrumental in extending Bancroft-Rosalie's winning streak to six on Friday. Wegner turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 66 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
If history really does repeat itself, Wegner might just drop another big game when he faces off against Lyons-Decatur Northeast on Friday. When Wegner last faced the Cougars back in September of 2023, he picked up 108 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

A Season-Best Performance from Andrew Haberman Leads Wynot over Walthill
Wynot was led to victory by Andrew Haberman, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Haberman rushed for 90 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, and also caught a touchdown. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 54 yards.
Haberman and Wynot will take on Winside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Haberman will face off against Mace Magwire, the Wildcats' star wideout. The only thing left to do is find out who's the greater deep ball threat. You'll have to watch the game to know for sure.
