Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Glen Lake). They breezed past the Johannesburg-Lewiston Cardinals to the tune of 49-6 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Lakers in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now won four in a row.

Sam Dykstra continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 178 yards and three scores while picking up 11.1 yards per carry. Kingston Palmer also deserves some recognition as he posted his first receiving yards of the season.

Glen Lake's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Johannesburg-Lewiston, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.
