Baseball Recap: Parker-Tarrant Homeschool Wins Going Away Against Dasche

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Coram Deo Academy, Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the DasCHE Spartans 8-2. Considering the Warriors have won 12 matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Dylan Dougharty spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on seven hits and racked up six Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Cooper Stone, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucas Grow, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6-1 record this season. As for DasCHE, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season.

Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool will challenge Tournament Opponent on Thursday. DasCHE does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
