Basketball Recap: Langley Takes a Loss

After flying high against Wakefield School two weeks ago, Langley came back down to earth. The Langley Saxons fell to the Yorktown Patriots 65-60. The Saxons haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Langley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Yorktown, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-1.

Langley will venture away from home to challenge George C. Marshall at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Yorktown, they will take on Wakefield at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Yorktown's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight matchups.
