Meanwhile, Escambia fell victim to West Florida and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Jaguars an easy 6-0 win. While losing is never fun, the Gators can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 482nd, while the Jaguars are ranked 68th).

Escambia has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8-1 record this season. As for Pine Forest, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2-1.
