Williams extended their winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Jordyn Taylor. Everything went the Williams Bulldogs' way against the Asheboro Blue Comets on Thursday as the Williams Bulldogs made off with a 66-43 win thanks in part to Taylor, who went 8 for 14 on her way to 18 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals. That's the most points she has posted since back in January.

When it comes to explaining why Asheboro lost, don't look at Adalynn Scherer. Despite the final result, she went 6 of 8 on her way to 16 points and seven rebounds.

Williams' record now sits at 7-1. As for Asheboro, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.

Williams wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 55-43 defeat against Southwestern Randolph on the 27th. As for Asheboro, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 39-32 victory against Chatham Charter on the 27th.
