The Arlington Red Devils will head out on the road to take on the Riverdale Falcons at 7:30 p.m. Riverdale took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Arlington, who comes in off a win.
Arlington scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They put the hurt on Upper Scioto Valley with a sharp 72-49 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Arlington has posted yet this season.
Meanwhile, Riverdale lost to Spencerville at home by a decisive 57-43 margin on Saturday. Riverdale has struggled against Spencerville recently, as their matchup on Saturday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
The victory makes it two in a row for Arlington and bumps their season record up to 7-7. As for Riverdale, their defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 6-9.
Arlington didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Riverdale in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, but they still walked away with a 45-40 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Arlington since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
