Softball Recap: Chesapeake Takes a Loss

Chesapeake was the 8-0 winner over Northeast when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Chesapeake might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 3-2 to Northeast, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chesapeake's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Northeast, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, Chesapeake will take on Old Mill at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. Chesapeake is facing Old Mill at the right time seeing as Old Mill is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Northeast, they will welcome Glen Burnie at 4:45 p.m. on Monday.
