It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Shelton can now relate to. They fell 49-40 to the Wilcox-Hildreth Falcons on Thursday. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their 25-game winning streak.

It was another big night for Madison Bunger, who posted 17 points along with eight rebounds and four blocks for Wilcox-Hildreth. The dominant performance also gave Bunger a new career-high in assists (four). Madison Sheen also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Shelton's loss dropped their record down to 25-2. As for Wilcox-Hildreth, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

Shelton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wilcox-Hildreth, they have already played their next game, a 39-31 defeat against Dorchester on the 7th.
