Basketball Recap: Baldwin Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Baldwin came into Thursday's contest having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Beaches Chapel Lions by a score of 61-49 on Thursday.

Baldwin got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Gage Screws out in front who posted 15 points. The dominant performance gave Screws a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Darius Terry, who had 11 points.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-6. As for Beaches Chapel, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-3.

Baldwin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 71-47 loss against West Nassau on the 13th. Beaches Chapel has also already played their next game, a 70-19 victory against Riverside Christian on the 13th.
