Warrensville Heights had lost seven straight at home dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 0-8 to make it eight. They fell just short of the Garfield Heights Bulldogs by a score of 13-11. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-3 on Monday.

Leighlan McClain spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned (and nine unearned) runs on six hits.

At the plate, Everett Durham was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with five stolen bases and two runs. Joshua Brantley was another key player, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run.

Those four runs gave JACKSON a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Orion Camper, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.

Warrensville Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Garfield Heights, they will face off against Richmond Heights at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs are facing the Spartans at the right time seeing as the Spartans are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
