Soccer Game Preview: Elk Lake vs. Old Forge

Elk Lake hasn't had much luck against Old Forge recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Blue Devils at 11:00 a.m. Elk Lake will be strutting in after a win while Old Forge will be coming in after a defeat.

Elk Lake headed into their last contest having not scored more than one goal for three straight, but Carbondale Area let them put that streak behind them. The Warriors never let the Chargers get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory on Friday. Elk Lake have beaten Carbondale Area the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Carbondale Area has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, Old Forge came up short against Riverside on Thursday and fell 3-1.

Old Forge's loss dropped their record down to 9-6-1. As for Elk Lake, their win bumped their record up to 6-9-2.
