Basketball Recap: Shining Light Academy Takes a Loss

Shining Light Academy has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 52-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the NC H Heat on Tuesday. The Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Heat earlier this season, when they won 51-45.

Shining Light Academy's loss dropped their record down to 12-4. As for NC H, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shining Light Academy will host South Guilford HomeSchool at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for NC H, they will welcome Greater Cabarrus S at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
