Baseball Recap: South Comes Up Short

South lost to Chardon on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Rebels lost 14-8 to the Hilltoppers. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Chardon, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South will challenge University School at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chardon, they will take on Hawken at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hilltoppers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hawks have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season.
