Softball Recap: Marquette Redmen vs. Menominee Maroons
In what's become a running theme this season, Marquette gave their fans yet another huge win on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 13-3 margin over the Menominee Maroons.
Charlye Swajanen made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Swajanen has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 11 consecutive pitching appearances. Swajanen was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
