Soccer Game Preview: Mt. Pulaski vs. Pana

Mt. Pulaski is 2-7 against Pana since October of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Hilltoppers will venture away from home to square off against the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Mt. Pulaski came up short against Blue Ridge/DeLand-Weldon on Thursday, falling 7-1. Mt. Pulaski were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 5-0.

Meanwhile, Pana lost 5-1 to Carlyle on Saturday.

Mt. Pulaski's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Pana, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13-1.

Mt. Pulaski might still be hurting after the 9-1 defeat they got from Pana in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Hilltoppers were down 7-0.
