NCSSM: Durham lost to Northeast Guilford back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The NCSSM: Durham Unicorns walked away with a 36-27 victory over the Northeast Guilford Rams. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Unicorns.

Despite the loss, Northeast Guilford still got an impressive performance from Kiyah Sherman, who posted 13 points. That was a full 48.1% of Northeast Guilford's points, marking the third time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points. Sasha Brower was another key player, putting up two points and 11 boards.

NCSSM: Durham has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season. As for Northeast Guilford, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.

NCSSM: Durham will square off against Southern Alamance at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Northeast Guilford, they will take on Ben L. Smith at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Jt Tatum and Kalicia DeBerry.
