Football Recap: Ray Bearcats vs. Hayden Lobos
Ray fell victim to Hayden and their airtight defense on Friday. They were beaten by the Hayden Lobos 71-0. It was the first time this season that the Bearcats let down their fans at home.
Ray wouldn't let Hayden keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Ray can thank Chase Chester and Christian Beede for forcing both of them.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hayden to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tyler Garner, who rushed for 110 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries. Garner's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 100 rushing yards dating back to last season. Kino Lorona was in the mix too, providing Hayden with two touchdowns.
Ray's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-5. As for Hayden, their victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-0.
As of now, neither Ray nor Hayden have any future games scheduled.
