The Paulding County Patriots will square off against the North Cobb Christian Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Paulding County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

Paulding County is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Monday. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sprayberry.

Paulding County saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ella Puckett, who went 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run was Puckett's first of the season. Another was Abbey Parish, who went 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for North Cobb Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against King's Ridge Christian on Monday, sneaking past 6-5.

Faith Sonnenberg was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Molly Edwards was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

North Cobb Christian pushed their record up to 1-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Paulding County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Paulding County skirted past North Cobb Christian 7-6 in their previous meeting back in August of 2024. Do the Patriots have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
