Basketball Recap: Fairview Takes a Loss

Fairview was the 53-49 winner over Paulding when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Fairview Apaches fell to the Paulding Panthers 56-50. The Apaches' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Fairview's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Paulding, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fairview won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Hilltop at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Paulding, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Lincolnview at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. The timing is sure in Paulding's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while Lincolnview has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.
