Softball Recap: Shekinah Christian Takes a Loss

Shekinah Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 16-1 to the Mt. Gilead Indians. If the Flames were looking for revenge after losing 17-0 to the Indians when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Shekinah Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Mt. Gilead, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-5.

Looking ahead, Shekinah Christian will head out to challenge Delaware Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mt. Gilead, they will be playing at home against Fredericktown at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
