Basketball Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

Washington suffered their closest loss since January 6th on Friday. They fell just short of the Fort Madison Bloodhounds by a score of 90-87. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Monday (68), the Demons still had to take the loss.

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Fort Madison, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Mt. Vernon the next time they take the court. Fort Madison will host Mt. Vernon at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Washington will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on February 18th.
