Basketball Recap: Glastonbury Victorious

Glastonbury posted their closest win since January 13, 2024 on Saturday. They skirted past the Acton-Boxborough The Revolution 47-44. Given the Guardians' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 19th in Connecticut, while the The Revolution are ranked 91st in Massachusetts), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Glastonbury has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. As for Acton-Boxborough, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Glastonbury will be playing at home against Windsor at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Windsor will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Glastonbury surely won't give up without a fight. Acton-Boxborough has already played their next matchup (against Varsity Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
