Basketball Recap: Riverside Christian Comes Up Short

Riverside Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 28-18 to the Bronson Eagles. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wranglers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-53 back in November of 2024.

Bronson found their leader in freshman Makenna Dean, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 13 rebounds. Dean also grabbed seven steals, which is notable because Bronson is 6-2 when she posts at least five steals, but 2-5 otherwise. Andrea Schuler was another key player, putting up 13 points and four steals.

Riverside Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Bronson, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Riverside Christian has already played their next matchup, a 53-18 defeat against Aucilla Christian on the 25th. Bronson has also already played their next contest (against Ocala Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
