Football Game Preview: Lewis-Palmer Rangers vs. Harrison Panthers + Official Tickets

For the first time this season, Lewis-Palmer will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. After each having a week off, they and the Harrison Panthers will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Lewis-Palmer is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games last Friday. They had to suffer through a 50-9 loss at the hands of Mead. The game marked the Rangers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Despite the defeat, Lewis-Palmer got top-tier performance from Greg Moore, who rushed for 107 yards and one touchdown on only 11 carries. Moore really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Harrison duked it out with Canon City last Friday. The Panthers took a blow against the Tigers, falling 42-0.

Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Lewis-Palmer, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Everything came up roses for Lewis-Palmer against Harrison when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 58-27 victory. In that contest, the Rangers amassed a halftime lead of 37-14, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
