Volleyball Recap: Concordia Comes Up Short

Concordia lost against Butler back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Fighting Orioles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bears.

Concordia may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 13 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-13.

Kamden Fennewald was a one-woman wrecking crew For Butler. as she had 11 digs and three aces. Fennewald is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last 15 games she's played dating back to last season.

Concordia now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Butler, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-0-1.

Concordia didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-1 draw against Tipton on the 20th. As for Butler, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Kingsville on the 20th.
