St. Clair County fell victim to Jacksonville and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Golden Eagles by a score of 1-0. The Fighting Saints just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

St. Clair County's loss dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Jacksonville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-16.

While St. Clair County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
