Niah Smedley was her usual excellent self, going 6 of 14 en route to 15 points and six steals. The game was her seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Rinker, who posted 11 points and four steals.
Dublin Scioto smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Westerville South waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victor by a 50-27 margin over the Wolves. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 23 points or more this season.
Dublin Scioto better keep an eye on Ariyana Cradle. She was instrumental in Westerville South's win, going 5 for 8 on her way to 13 points and four steals. Cradle has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 16 times she's played. Londyn Brewer was another key player, putting up seven points in addition to five boards and three steals.
Dublin Scioto's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Westerville South, they are also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.
