Basketball Recap: Jupiter Snaps Ten-Game Streak of Wins at Home

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Jupiter can now relate to. They fell just short of the Centennial Eagles by a score of 65-62 on Wednesday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (60), the Warriors still had to take the loss.

Centennial's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Felix Buroz, who went 8 of 11 on his way to 18 points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Jeremy Felix, who went 7 for 15 en route to 19 points and five rebounds.

Jupiter's defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-5. As for Centennial, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Jupiter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Centennial, they will venture away from home to square off against Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Central's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 19 games.
