Taylorsville had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Granger on Monday. The Warriors were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Lancers. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by eight runs or more this season.

The result came thanks to Cole Kramer's shutout, as he gave up just a hit and racked up ten Ks. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Taylorsville is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 6-14 otherwise.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Isaac Woolley, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. Holden Cottle was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Taylorsville hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are 3-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Taylorsville's victory bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Granger, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-17.

Taylorsville will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Lancers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
