Softball Recap: Nolan Catholic Comes Up Short

Nolan Catholic's last matchup with Trinity Christian could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Friday. The Vikings lost 12-2 to the Trojans. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Eva Hons was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Mallory Laux, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Nolan Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 4-14-1. As for Trinity Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-4.

Coincidentally, Nolan Catholic and Trinity Christian will both be playing Parish Episcopal the next time they take the field. The Vikings will host the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Trojans will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
