Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Oxbridge Academy). They were the clear victor by a 16-7 margin over the Lake Placid Dragons on Friday. The ThunderWolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by nine runs or more this season.

Aby Vital made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. Vital was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4.

In other batting news, Ila Trueblood was a standout: she scored three runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Hadley Krasulak also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
