Softball Recap: Hinsdale South Takes a Loss

Hinsdale South lost against Metea Valley back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Hornets came up short against the Mustangs, falling 19-6. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lauren Bishop was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

Hinsdale South's record now sits at 2-10-1. As for Metea Valley, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hinsdale South will venture away from home to square off against Nazareth Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Metea Valley, they will square off against Neuqua Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
