Baseball Recap: Sundown Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Sundown's offense. They came up short against the Ropes Eagles on Friday, falling 12-0. The Roughnecks' loss continues a trend for the team, making it seven in a row.

Sundown's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Ropes, the victory was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Sundown will take on rival Smyer at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ropes is set to face off against their familiar foe Morton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
