Basketball Game Preview: Thomasville Bulldogs vs. Bacon County Raiders

The Thomasville Bulldogs will square off against the Bacon County Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Saturday, Thomasville came up short against Fitzgerald and fell 46-38.

The losing side was boosted by Jaleah Brown, who posted ten points and four steals. She has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Harmony Bryant, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.

Meanwhile, Bacon County also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Worth County by a score of 54-43. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Thomasville will have to keep a close watch on Makayla Thomas and Marnay'Jah Reynolds, a pair of players who had a big impact on Bacon County's prior game. Thomas dropped a double-double on 12 points and 15 boards, while Reynolds put up 19 points.

Bacon County's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Thomasville, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.

Thomasville didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Bacon County in their previous matchup two weeks ago, but they still walked away with a 42-38 win. Will Thomasville repeat their success, or does Bacon County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
