After having lost a blowout in their previous game against San Juan Hills, Oxford Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Pioneer Titans 3-0. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Oxford Academy not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Pioneer between 17 and 20 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-19, 25-20.

Oxford Academy's win bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Pioneer, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-5.

Oxford Academy will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Titans: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
