Softball Recap: St. Albans Wins Going Away Against Parkersburg

St. Albans never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Parkersburg Big Reds with a sharp 12-0 win. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Ava Bentley made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 14 over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Carlee Parker was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Maddie Morris was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.
