Volleyball Recap: Cherokee Trail Takes a Loss

Cherokee Trail lost against Fruita Monument back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cougars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Londyn Donaldson paced Cherokee Trail's offense, picking up seven kills. Donaldson got some help from Avery Krause and her 17 assists. Isabella McClinton controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Cherokee Trail's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Fruita Monument, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Cherokee Trail will square off against Rock Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fruita Monument, they have already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Castle View on the 30th.
