Cambridge Rindge & Latin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 17-5 to the Belmont Marauders. The match marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Cambridge Rindge & Latin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Belmont, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cambridge Rindge & Latin will welcome Newton South at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Belmont, they will take on Arlington at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Marauders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Spy Ponders have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season.
