While Bunn put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Western Harnett. The Wildcats blew past the Eagles 7-0. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won 13 games by seven runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Bunn and bumps their season record up to 19-2. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Western Harnett, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-16.

Looking ahead, Bunn will head out to face off against North Johnston at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wildcats 2, the Panthers 3) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Western Harnett, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 7-6 victory against Princeton on the 24th.
