Kennedy Catholic will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Thursday, then bounced right back against Auburn on Monday. The Lancers put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 16-1 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Lancers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Bella Frank made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI and one double. That double was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Megan Wintermute was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Izzy McDonough, who went 1-for-4 with four runs, one double, and one RBI.
Kennedy Catholic kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 19 hits. They are 4-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Tahoma had already won 14 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.4 runs) and they went ahead and made it 15 on Monday. They never let the Ravens get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won 13 matches by seven runs or more so far this season.
Alexa Ramirez made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kalani Higa, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. Taryn Jones was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Tahoma pushed their record up to 18-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs on average over those games. As for Kennedy Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Wednesday. Kennedy Catholic hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.4 home runs per game. However, it's not like Tahoma struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 1.4 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
