Basketball Recap: Woodstock Comes Up Short

Woodstock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 42-35 to Rivendell Academy. The Wasps were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Rivendell Academy earlier this season, when they won 39-31.

Woodstock's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Rivendell Academy, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 5-13.

Woodstock didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 42-35 loss against Rivendell Academy on the 17th. As for Rivendell Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 43-17 defeat against Green Mountain on the 15th.
