A Season-Best Performance from Ethan Guerra Leads Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North over Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial
On Friday, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North got the W thanks in part to Ethan Guerra playing the best football he has all season. Guerra rushed for 245 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in November of 2023. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 79-yard run.
The victory for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. Guerra and Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North will be playing in front of their home fans against Weslaco East at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Jayden Paluseo Turns in Another Game with at Least Three Passing Touchdowns
Jayden Paluseo produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Flour Bluff to the win on Friday. Paluseo wasn't messing around, throwing for 342 yards and five touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushing for 50 yards and a touchdown. The contest was his 15th straight with three or more passing touchdowns dating back to last season.
The victory for Flour Bluff keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. Paluseo and Flour Bluff will square off against Donna North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Andre Mimms Goes Supernova in Flour Bluff Victory
Flour Bluff picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Andre Mimms. Rivera had no answer to Mimms as he picked up 172 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
On the season, Mimms has caught 12 touchdowns while averaging 115 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 47 receiving yards per game.

Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial found a leader in Andrew Charlebois as the team took down Donna on Friday. Charlebois was unstoppable, rushing for 106 yards and two touchdowns.
This season, Charlebois has run in 16 touchdowns while averaging 157.4 rushing yards per game.

Margarito Pompa Rounds Out Top Five
Rounding off our Top Five is Margarito Pompa of Weslaco East. Pompa rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
