Baseball Recap: Homestead Takes a Loss

Homestead was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Miami Stingarees, falling 13-1. The Broncos were not able to make up for their loss to the Stingarees from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Homestead's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Miami, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Homestead will head out to square off against Goleman at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Miami, they will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Everglades at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Miami is facing Everglades at the right time seeing as Everglades is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
