Basketball Recap: Cahokia's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

Cahokia needed a changed in momentum after dropping three straight games and they got it from C'Narri Griffin. The Cahokia Comanches snuck past the King Jaguars with a 62-56 victory on Saturday thanks in part to Griffin, who went 7 for 9 on his way to 19 points and eight rebounds. That's the most rebounds he has posted since back in January.

Cahokia's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for King, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cahokia will head out to face off against Mt. Vernon at 6:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for King, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Brooks at 5:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
