Basketball Recap: Nacogdoches' Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

It was a good run, but Nacogdoches unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 63-47 bruising from the Tyler Lions. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 207th, while the Lions are ranked 45th).

Nacogdoches' loss dropped their record down to 19-9. As for Tyler, they pushed their record up to 29-5 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Hallsville the next time they take the court. Nacogdoches will host Hallsville at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, while Tyler will head out to face them at 6:15 p.m. on February 4th.
