Volleyball Recap: Carroll Comes Up Short

Carroll extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to six on Tuesday, dropping them down to 0-5. They lost 3-0 to the Caston Comets. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cougars have suffered since October 10, 2024.

Caston's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. They haven't had any issues with Carroll recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Caston found their leader in sophomore Ellie Zartman, who had four digs and two aces.

Carroll wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Rossville on the 21st. As for Caston, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Culver Community on the 21st.
